Temperature in conservatory to avoid damp?

I had a conservatory built in late summer and have only recently moved my old sofas in there as my new sofa has just been delivered (prior to that I just had my garden furniture in there).
The sofa is fabric covered and I am concerned that the cold weather will make the furniture damp and it might start to smell foisty. To prevent that happening I can set my heater to keep the room at a certain temperature for certain parts of the day but at what temperature should that be and for how long should the room be heated each day.

Just a scientific fact: dump is a result of high relative humidity, that depends not only on temperature, but on other factors. Air can be very humid at 30 degrees C and very dry at 5 degrees, for example. Higher temperature is not universal 'medicine' against dump, although generally it helps.

A combination of some warmth and a little ventilation is required. Its a bit juggling trick to get the right combination. We find a minimum temperature of about 10C (50F) with the window cracked open during the day seems to do the trick.0
