Some day my prints will come?

Boots have lost my disposable camera which I handed in for processing.
Anyone else had problem and did your prints turn up?

Re compensation I have only been offered free film/processing - not very generous considering they have lost my photographs - am I entitled to more than this?

when you hand a film in you are agreeing to their t&c - a copy of these may be on your receipt

it is annoying /frustrating / upsetting but tough . . . they may offer alittle more as a goodwill gesture

it will probbaly say what compensation is limited to - normally the replacement value of the film

Not used a processing company for the best part of ten years since the advent of digital but I think you will find that you are only entitled to the value of the film, mighty annoying when the pics are worth a lot more, I hope they turn up.
