Hi everyone i was just wondering if anyone could help me. I am about to put a letter ito my bank to try and start a claim on all the charges they have applied to my account in the past 5yrs. I have asked the bank before to refund my charges and they refused. Can anyone tell me what is the best thing to do if they refuse again. If they refund me the money they could save me from the debt collectors!!
Please help

Yes, follow through on what you wrote the last time, and commence legal action. Please please please read and re read Martin's guide to claiming. Always assume the bank will defend and that you will end up in court. If you are fully prepared and clearly understand your case then you will win. THe likelyhood is that the case will be stayed pending the outcome of the OFT test case. Are you Scotland?(you mention 5 years so I assume that, rightly or wrongly).0
