Certification help! please :)

Hi all,

I need to get a photocopy of my passport certified by a solicitor, doctor etc. Just wondered if anyone could give me a rough guide as to how much this would cost me for a solicitor to do this? I have been told about £7 - £10, but wondered if this was right?

All I need is for them to certify that they have seen my passport and that the photocopy is a true copy of this. So its a 5 minute job.

I know this isn't necessarily student related but it's for my uni course and though somone may have some knowledge..any help is much apreciated.

Thanks again

£7 - £10 sounds very reasonable, i resently had to get a form signed by my Dr and they charged me £26.

I have friendly solicitors locally who will do this for £5,but generally I get my Vicar to do it!

    Thanks everyone :)

Well I did hear that Doctors were about £30 so thought I would try the cheaper option, I might try the Police Station actually..the problem is I am in a bit of a rush to get it signed (needs doing Monday) and so I am thinking do I just pay the money for a solicitor to do it..

I worked in a solicitors a few years ago and they charged £7 sometimes free if they were feeling in a nice mood :)
