I have
COMODO FIREWALL PRO.
INTEGRITY DESK
A SQUARED BACKGROUND GUARD
SUPERANTISPYWARE
SPYBOT SD
AVAST VRDB GENERATOR
AVAST ON ACCESS SCANNER
and RECENT 'X'.
They all seem to do different things but I undersatnd that you can't have two anti-virus progs running or two firewalls, at the same time so I was wondering if there is any conflicts here?
Also SOMETHING is knocking out my passwords from IE and FIREFOX.
I can enter them but if I close down the browser when I re-open it all passwords have gone.
Can anyone point me in the direction of where to look, please?

For firefox: Tools > Options > Security (tab), ensure "Remember passwords for sites" is checked. You may also want to click the "Exceptions" button to ensure specific site passwords aren't removed regardless of it being checked.
After that check Tools > Options > Privacy (tab), under "Private Data" click "Settings" ensure password box isn't checked.
Fir IE (Internet Explorer) I imagine it's fairly similar, I don't really use IE anymore but it shouldn't be too disimilar to Firefox.
You do seem to have alot and varied amount of anti-spyware/virus/firewall software running. You should generally stick to one to prevent conflictions. I'd recommend researching each program, find out what each one does then try sticking to a sngle program for each task.
Running all of these programs will wat up alot of resources and probably slow your pc down. If you're unsure on what to remove, you could always temporarily disable some of the programs, leave one ant-virus program running continously and disable the others so they don't run on start up. Then just run them when you need to check something specific or clear off the junk.0 -
Why are you running them all? Your either very paranoid, or very stupid with what you click when your online.0

Nice RobT.
Well, I'm CERTAINLY not paranoid.:)
They all installed themselves when I ran them for the first time but I have now turned most off. just AVAST and COMODO running now.
Still cannot get my passwords to stay despite IE and Firefox switched to 'Saving passwords.'
Edit:
