Natwest taking us to Court

[We took a loan out with them and then got into trouble. I went to the local branch and tried to explain but they wouldn't listen, they said because we still had an amount in our overdraught they would continue to take the monthly payment !!!!!!!!!] Sorry.. not mastered the quote bit.
Thank you and YES! They continued to overdraw the overdraft to milk the loan! Fees and charges and they still continued. Horrendous.
No way will I settle with them. Not getting into further debt to appease their appetite. They asked if I would like to increase the loan! No go.
Dirty blighters.

Update. Got the letter from Shoosmiths stating Court case lodged and to avoid this contact them to offer a settlement amount. My letter crossed in the post.
Spoke to CCCS who advised we are in our rights to contest the case due to the charges placed against the current account when they failed to accept my cancellation of the SO for the loan payment but that I should seek legal advice. Just looking for a freebie one now!
Bloody nightmare!!

Not sure if anyone is still following this thread (I tend to drive people away with my incessant droning!)
Shoosmiths have agreed the payment plan set in place by CCCS and have withdrawn proceedings and frozen interest. Still waiting for confirmation of this. I suspect there is more than meets the eye to this as the telephone conversation was pretty hasty. However, CapQuest, who are pursuing my obligation to the current account, will not stop collecting and referred me back to Natwest who referred me back to CapQuest who refuse to...... etc etc....:j Proud to be dealing with my debts:j0 -
Well I don't have debt with Natwest either. Didn't stop them treating us like crap and being cruel/vindictive/nasty to my disabled partner because he was making more work for them. If they went ubder tomorrow I wouldn't shed a tear.Barclaycard 3800
