Egg Savings?

Hi,

I applied for the 9 month deal at 5.5% last week and still have not heard anything by post or e-mail. How long does it take to open a savings account with egg and when should I contact them?

I got an instant reply on screen and then shortly after (less than half an hour) got an e-mail. I was already an Egg customer tho. I'd get in touch with them anyway - can't harm

9 month? - did you not mean 6 month? If there is a new 9 month offer, may we have a link?

I feel such a plank, sent of an e-mail to egg about not receiving anything and have just realised that I didnt complete my application. When I signed up before I just signed up to the site through the savings application.

When I went into 'saved applications' there was on that wasnt complete so I finished it off. I am awaiting a letter becuase I need to send off ID. Anyone know what they will ask for? Is the usual one statement and photocopy of driving license/passport?
