... and Yes, I have looked on the Wired forum site!
Do the majority of shops in NYC open on a sunday, or is it just a few?
I am planning a weekend shopping in NYC, but would like to know if this will basically amount to just the saturday.

EVERYWHERE is still open, just with slightly reduced hours. i.e maybe 10-6 instead of 8-8 during the week.
Boutique shops etc in areas like Greenwich Village may only be open 12-5.
You can shop till you drop ! Have fun****************************0 -
If you are planning on going to Macys, make sure you visit Century 21 first to get the bargains, then anything you dont find there get at Macys. Century 21 is right over the road from ground zero.MFWB

just incase you have not sorted out your flights yet, we got our NY flights this Christmas with Virgin for £145 each!!!! yes you heard me right love...we jumped at it and are now spending Christmas there with family.
However this was an offer that I saw last month so check their online prices and see if it is still available.
Also check out Martins page on travel insurance we got a quote off one of the sites he recommended and was the cheapest I have ever seen...:j
