Backwards and Forwards in Firefox

The arrows for previous and next pages in Firefox are just showing small icons instead of the page description.

I've only just started using Firefox, but I'm sure it wasn't like that before.

Any suggestions? Ta!

I had this problem also, and i fixed mine by re-installing fire fox. It only happened on certain sites such as facebook and ebay.

which was weird, maybe try using Safari from Apple it works in a similar way to fire fox.

It was doing it on all sites - but whatever the problem was it's corrected itself now, and working normally.

If you right click on the firefox tool bar you should get a customise option, if you select this at the bottom is a box that says use small icons, ticking this changes from large to small icons

Seems to be happening more and more now - though not all the time.

Anyone else had this?

Have you done what Keith said? Right click an empty bit of the toolbar, choose customise and select "icons and text" from the "show" dropdown box

Don't know why it would be changing though

It isn't the size of the icons on the toolbar - it's the list of previously visited pages - sometimes shows full description other times just an icon.

Could you post a screenshot, showing how FF looks normally for you, and how it looks when its weird?

Does it happen even if you drop it down using the small down arrow to the right of the Back or Forwards button?
