hi there.i have recently started a course and will be getting my student card next week,could someone please outline the benefits of having the student card?

There are many stores which offer discount, eg HMV, Virgin, Topshop, etc. It's always worth asking, even in small independent stores.

there might be a list of national chains that give discount on the NUS website.
Failing that, just ask! you'll soon remember which ones give discount and which don'tOne thing...that sets pulses racing...that gets hearts pounding...for which there is no substitute...only YOU can provide...blood.
