palice your eyes look fab. Wish I could do my makeup like that

    What can I say STUNNING

Was thinking of trying the lash mascara reduced to £5 today to get the gwp. Does anyone know or has anyone tried to get it with just 2 of them as I was hoping the till would see the original price of £10 each, much like the bogof suncare.

Did my first ever bootsing shop yesterday after a few weeks of lurking.

Got 3 x Mitchum vouchers for £6.35 the SA started taking the two lots of vouchers and then it ended up Boots owed me money - AMATEUR! So she got a team leader who said I could only use 1 of the 2 for all 3. So ended up paying £1.20 for 3 Mitchum and got both the till £5 off facial and £5 off No 7.

Hi, I'm a little confused. It sounds like just using ONE 50% off voucher took half off of ALL THREE Mitchums?! So you don't have to bother using one voucher for each item? Is that right?

How much was the original price of each Mitchum? I'm trying to figure this out, as you may have stumbled onto something good here, lol. And I don't know why I'm interested as the Mitchum gave me a rash anyway, lol.

One 50% Mitchum voucher will take off £1.50 - not strictly 50% and not 50% off all 3 either.......

    HTH!
    ;)
"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".

The smaller white coupons are £1 off (they should say this on them!) and the other green ones are the 50% off ones ;)

I can't emphasise enough how important it is for people not to take the mickey with these vouchers though because already with team leaders becoming aware of it and people accidently ending up in credit, it's not going to be long before they are banned......Let's not spoil it for each other!

  • well the mitchum are either 1.69 or 2.28
50% off voucher gives 1.50 off then there is the 1.00 off voucher
so if you buy a 1.69 mitchum and use both (2.50) then you are 81p in credit for the rest of your shop

(someone had worked this out previously)
I miss using my infinite coupons at Tesco!
2010 was the worst year ever :(
But 2011 so far has been a lot of fun! :j

  • its the green one i have, thanks for the advice red balloon, so its ok for me to buy one mitchum and use one of the vouchers, in one transaction??

Right, I got that (I posted the first Mitchum glitch of using one of each voucher and getting the Mitchum free plus money off the rest of the shop, then others figured out they could use several at once, lol). I just thought perhaps you discovered that using one voucher took 1.50 off of all the Mitchums you bought, which would save people having to hand over three of the same vouchers and hoping the SA will do them all. But I guess not.
  • oh right - no sorry - had handed over 3 of each! sorry for the confuzing post!

I actually like Mitchum too so this is great for me!

I need to work out what I can spend my £5 off facial on. My Gran loves Olay but the old fashioned pink one - none that are included in the offer. Would have been good to get her birthday presents with them.
