For example would this go through at a penny

TS Long hair serum (with pink writing on it)
TS any other product (the one's I'm thinking of are shampoo, conditioner, brunette glosser, hairspray)

Really grateful if anyone could help!
Yep, just about any TS should go through at a penny so long as you buy the TS long hair serum (6.99 pink bottle for curly/permed hair) as till sees 2 for £7 then always takes off the long hair serum as the free product when the mag voucher is scanned, so deducts 6.99 = 0.01 to pay!

Bbasically so long as you have the mag voucher buy any long hair product plus any other TS product (can be another long hair if you like), till sees them as 2 for £7 then deducts the price of the long hair product when you hand the mag voucher over.:T

So: long hair serum plus another product = 1p, because the serum is the only long hair product that's 6.99 it's the only one that'll result in a 6.99 deduction - that's why princess83 got charged 2.51 - the till deducted the price of the shampoo (4.49) from the original total of £7, because the blonde glosser that she also bought isn't a long hair product.

I'll try and do a quick breakdown of what costs what in my next post - it was doen by someone on the last thread but it took me a while to figure this glitch out, so it might help someone else!

Sorry, I meant to say the 6.99 item must be Long Hair - I think

just checked on .com and the pink serum is the only 6.99 product in the long hair range so you can get:

    Any item
    TS long hair serum
    1p

    Any item
    TS Conditioning treatment
    £1.01

    Any item
    TS Long hair balm
    £2.01

thanks mrs bb so i have to but 2 £6.99 items really to get them for 1p? xx

Nope, you can get other things as the second item. Just note that the coupon you are using says you get a *long hair* trevor sorbie product free with any other TS product. So the till will take off the price of the *long hair* product. The only long hair product that is 6.99 is the pink serum, so if you want to pay 1p, get the serum and any other TS product. If you won't use the serum but would use one of the pots of Long Hair conditioning treatments for 5.99,
hero.jpg -- looks like this in blue or pink --

you could get that and any other TS product and pay 1.01. If you get a long hair item that is 4.49 and a regular item, the voucher will just take 4.49 off the price (which is 2 for 7 pounds), so you end up paying 2.51. Just chant "long hair is the freebie" in your head while you look at the shelf so you don't forget, lol. :)

They may do, though I've never returned haircare before, but if you still want to get a blonde glosser do this next time:

    TS Blonde Glosser
    TS Long Hair serum

    1p

    TS Blonde Glosser
    TS Conditioning Treatment

    £1.01

    That should work :)

Part of the Furniture 500 Posts Combo Breaker
Sorry if this has already been asked but I've been away for a few days and when I went to the acm in boots today I got a 500 points when you buy 2 no.7 P&P skin care. I don't need suncare so what's the best combo to buy to get the free gift? I've got the £5 off till spit as well after "buying"

    2 x mitchum @ £1.65 (with 2 x 50% (£1.50) off and 2 x £1 off coupons) so £3.30 with £5 back
ts thermal wrap and ts long hair shampoo @ £1.01

so nothing to pay. I realised after I had 69p value left with the money off coupons that I hadn't used but not bad anyway. As well as the 2 spits I got a H&B mag with the t&g/model.me coupons - result
  • Apologies to those who've already sussed this, but this is the reasoning behind the TS Long hair glitch:

Basically you need to have the free TS long hair product voucher from the H&B mag. Pick up any TS product (except minis) plus a long hair product and the till sees them as 2 for £7. It then deducts the price of the long hair product from that £7, as it sees this as the free product. So which long hair product you buy dictates how much the final total is. Buy one long hair product detailed below plus any other TS product and cost should come out as follows:

Long hair serum (pink bottle for curly hair) usual cost £6.99 makes total cost 1p
Long hair conditioning treatment or long hair thermal wrap (both in tubs, not bottles) usual cost 5.99 so total cost would be £1.01
Long hair curl cream (pink squeezy tube) or long hair straightening balm (blue tube) usual cost 4.99 so total cost £2.01
Long hair shampoo or long hair conditioner (pink for curly hair or blue for straight hair) usual cost 4.49 so total cost would be 2.51

Not sure what happens if you buy 2 long hair products, I bought straightening balm plus shampoo and appear to have got the more expensive product free, but I don't know if this works with all combinations.
