Wow I'm soooo jealous of all the bargins that everyone is getting!!

Just come back from hols so been catching up on thread.

Hopefully meadowhall will have some reduce fragrances on saturday when i can get to boots

May have to try wombling near the self service tills unless a fellow bootser beets me too it!!

    Hi LoubyLou
SHeffield Fargate shop had loads of reduced perfume today-SELs and clearance stickers but all in the normal perfume section downstairs. TS not up to much and clearance was rubbish but picked up some good perfume deals :T

I am usually in fargate or Moor boots once a day as they're on my way to work so if you need anything checking out, just let me know!

  • Heatherbelle asks and Mrs Buffy does her best to answer:

-Are there ever any benefit glitches? I LOVE benefit! Also if I pay with points at the moment will I get their points offer?

Can't say I can remember a Benefit glitch, and I think that if you pay with points you don't get points back.

-There is talk of a printable voucher a few months back... how did that work? unlimited? and how often does that happen?

A No7 one was e-mailed to a number of Boots customers and made good use of - repeatedly in some cases :D there have been others since I think but IMHO the No7 one was the best one :D

-what is the lipgloss in the mag 'liplicious' like? worth getting that and the points with the pinky?

Yes, yes, yes - infinitely better IMHO than the old style Liplicious - not tacky or sticky, and they look great.

Not a long time ago someone reported that bought Boots Baby Rice (£1.49) and Boots Baby Cereals (£1.79) and handed 2 PC half price coupons - one for rice and one for cereals, and till charged only 0.88. Somehow the till deducted 0.74 OFF Baby rice twice.
Yesterday I took both baby rice and cereals and handed two different coupons: one for rice and other for cereal. Only at home noticed that SA scanned 2 x Baby rice (maybe he thought that I bought 2 the same boxes, as they look very similar), but both coupons worked leaving me to pay -0.01. As I done lots of other shopping noticed only at home.
    My receipt looks:

Bts Org Bay Rice 1.49 NOW 0.74
Bts Org Bay Rice 1.49 NOW 0.74
    Saving £1.50

    Parenting club coupon save
    (Includes Bts Org Bay Rice)
    (Includes Bts Org Bay Rice)
    Saving £1.50 NOW -1.50

    So -0.01 Overall

It lets me think that Half price coupon for cereals knocks half price off each rice and cereals you buy in one transaction. That would explain why others for Rice&Cereals paid 0.88

Someone who have both coupons may wish to do the same :)
And worth add to 1st post of this thread too :)

So if SA scanned the baby rice coupn twice then we would need 2 rice coupons rather than 1 rice and 1 cereal?

I nearly gave him one of my vouchers! I was the stressed out mum hovering beside him!!
Lol, yeah he was on his mobile, I was talking him through it all! How amusing! I didnt realise about the serum until today as he got me conditioner yesterday so wasnt even looking at the serum. Aww bless him, cant wait to tell him he got spotted by a fellow MSE'er, small world! :rotfl:
  • Thanks buffy! really appreciated! I am so happy about what tomorrow may bring! I think it was your post about the voucher merry go round - so if I buy something with my spit do I get another if before the discount the total was £5.50 but after is only 50p? or does the final amount have to be over £5?

I have been ready about MrBB - he sounds amazing! My OH is very understanding but there is no way he would ever be able to do it by himself!
I miss using my infinite coupons at Tesco!
2010 was the worst year ever :(
But 2011 so far has been a lot of fun! :j

  • Hi all
If you pay by points for something that costs a bit more (no 7), can you use the £5 off pinkie too, or does it have to be points for the full price?

    Thanks
