Right - I have become obsessed with Boots. I have been dreaming it and yet all I have done is one shop! I need to calm down.
I was going to do a shop today but I had to read all the posts and before I knew it I had left it too late.
I am very lucky being in Glasgow - I have 2 stores in the west end where I am based and then a mile away is the city centre where there are 3 huge stores (I'm excited just typing it!)
So I have decided that I am making hampers up for birthdays and Xmas. No7 for my mum, olay for my nan and ruby millie for 2 friends and then sanctury for my aunt. However, I am new to this and don't want to go into this crazily now then regret not holding out later in the year so few questions (I need this clear in my head before tomorrow!)
-How often are there till spits and vouchers like there is at the moment? How many will there be before the end of the year?
-If I use a pinky and my shop is say 75p after use, do I get another spit and pinky cos it was originally over £5?
-Are there ever any benefit glitches? I LOVE benefit! Also if I pay with points at the moment will I get their points offer?
-There is talk of a printable voucher a few months back... how did that work? unlimited? and how often does that happen?
-what is the lipgloss in the mag 'liplicious' like? worth getting that and the points with the pinky?
Sorry for the long post! I am so hyped about tomorrow! I need to have a cuppa to chill out!
(may I also mention that you are all lovely lovely lovely people!)I miss using my infinite coupons at Tesco!
2010 was the worst year ever
But 2011 so far has been a lot of fun! :j

I successful managed to do the TS glitch today for the first time! Yippee. Only problem in my store is lack of the serum, there only were 2 left. I took and and managed a 1p transaction along with a shampoo.
I then did a second transaction which cost £1.01 and got 2 items that I wanted, a shampoo and conditioner. Sometimes we see 1p glitches and then lose sight od the fact that even paying a pound or two is still an absolute bargain price. Getting a tenners worth of haircare for £2.50 is 75% off who couldn't be happy with that?0 -

Not a long time ago someone reported that bought Boots Baby Rice (£1.49) and Boots Baby Cereals (£1.79) and handed 2 PC half price coupons - one for rice and one for cereals, and till charged only 0.88. Somehow the till deducted 0.74 OFF Baby rice twice.
Yesterday I took both baby rice and cereals and handed two different coupons: one for rice and other for cereal. Only at home noticed that SA scanned 2 x Baby rice (maybe he thought that I bought 2 the same boxes, as they look very similar), but both coupons worked leaving me to pay -0.01. As I done lots of other shopping noticed only at home.
My receipt looks:
Bts Org Bay Rice 1.49 NOW 0.74
Bts Org Bay Rice 1.49 NOW 0.74
Saving £1.50
Parenting club coupon save
(Includes Bts Org Bay Rice)
(Includes Bts Org Bay Rice)
Saving £1.50 NOW -1.50
So -0.01 Overall
It lets me think that Half price coupon for cereals knocks half price off each rice and cereals you buy in one transaction. That would explain why others for Rice&Cereals paid 0.88
Someone who have both coupons may wish to do the same
And worth add to 1st post of this thread too0 -

I went to boots today and spent 40 quid and got 2 £5 vouchers
can anyone tell a novice what i can do with them?! i cant make sense of this thread !
As pcg has told you about the best deals for using vouchers, here's another tip -- if you can split your shop into increments of £5, do that so that you will get more vouchers! You spent £40, and unless it was all on one big item, you might have been able to break it down into smaller shops of £5 or so (depending on the price of the items and if they'd break down into increments that small) and gotten several till spits. That's how we lot end up with so many, lol.
Don't feel bad if you didn't get as many vouchers as you could have for your £40, just think about doing more than one transaction next time you shop so you can get more £5 vouchers (which equals more free or cheap deals!).0 -
Hi,
Wee help required please..... tried the TS long hair glitch twice today using voucher from H&B mag. I got shampoo and conditioner used voucher but still paid £2.51 ish? What am I doing wrong here? Sooooooo daft sometimes. Was on 2 for £7.
