  • Woo hoo, done a quickie shop at lunch time, got TD facial cleanser free and 200 points, No7 nail varnish £1.25 and 250 points and used 100 points acm coupon on Boots Skin Clear face mask sachet, which worked although I just noticed it clearly says not to be used on 10ml face mask. Also 250 pointer from GWP had to be out on card manually. Got a magazine too and a 99p Boots Pro Vitamin conditioner which really works for me, so paid £3.13 for 4 great products I'll use and got 558 points back :j :j :j

well chuft, thankyou so much to everybody who puts tips and glitches on here, you're all angels  no long hair stuff in my local boots so off to Canterbury
Student loan no more ;) paid off

Do you think i will have any trouble returning 1 garnier peel kit without the receipt? I tried the other 1 last night and it felt like my face was on fire. When my dh came up he said omg what have you done to your face! I washed it off but it is still very warm and red now. I really don't have the receipt as it was about 2 weeks ago that i bought them. i'm a bit worried they will be funny ith me but i guess they can only say no.

you should contact the manufacturer ( phone number should be on the packet) and explain what happened - they will probably send you some vouchers as compensation. plus you could still return it to boots if garnier don't want them back.

TS Glitch - if the second item you buy (on top of the long hair serum) is a long hair range item, it'll subtract the cost of this (e.g. £4.49) from the £7 (with the free long hair item voucher, as it's cheaper than the serum), leaving you with 2.51 to pay. However, if you buy a non long hair item for the second product, it'll subtract the cost of the serum (£6.99) from the £7, leaving you with only a penny to pay. So the easiest thing is 1 long hair serum + any other non long hair item = 1 penny to pay!

Did you try this, or do you assume that's what will happen? Because every time I've gotten two long hair items (one being the serum), it deducts the price of the serum in the pink bottle. I'd like to try that again, and am assuming it will work that way no matter what long-hair combo I do, as long as the serum is part of it.

Has anyone actually bought two long hair items, including the serum in the pink bottle, and had it charge you for the cheaper item? If so, what was the item?

Great shops this morning in 3 boots. Other was olay regenerist micro dermabrasion kit 24.99 on .com but down to £12.49 and a further £5 off with tillspit.

Got two no.7 P&P lip & eye for free with tillspit just to use 500 bonus point acm on P&P.

Sorry to snip but how did you get the no7 P&P lip &eye things free? Aren't they £5.57 each BOGOF???

And also did the acm voucher beep?

    Thanks
    :A Carpe Diem:A

 WINS = Nothing...I never seem to win anything!:roll eyes:

Was a bit of an assumption based on someone elses shop they posted - they'd bought the serum and a shampoo and paid the amount i calculated... seems to have happened to a couple of people from what i've read. It just seems sensible that if you're getting a free long hair item with the voucher, it'll deduct the cheapest long hair item in your shop. Maybe you just got lucky :oD

    Hi Angel
Sorry I've checked my receipt and not free, 75p. They are bogof £5.75 and I used a £5 tillspit as well to reduce the price to 75p and let me use the acm 500 points on 2 p&p coupon. I put some mitchums through as well which covered the 75p.

Edit: The 500 points were a manual addition.
