Do FOS send you an acknowledgement that they have received your complaint or anything like that? I only sent my docs off about a week and a half ago but am just wondering how long it could take for them to contact me about the issue. Or do they just let you know when it's resolved/they can't do anything?
Thanks in advance - DB

Read this page - and then try to answer the question "how useful did you find the information on this page?" by replying other than "very useful"
A 'Head-in-the-clouds' organistion? Or head in some other place else perhaps?
(And, yes, it doesn't answer your question on how long they ought to take at each stage does it?).....under construction.... COVID is a [discontinued] scam0 -
from my experience they kept me informed every step of the process, I got a letter saying the had recieved the complaint, then a letter saying it had been passed onto the right department and it was being looked into, then I got a letter saying I would be awarded a full refund - just waiting for my cheque now! The whole process from me first contacting them took about 2 and a half or 3 months. Hope this helps0

I have 2 complaints in with them at the minute. On both occasions they wrote acknowledging receipt after about 2 weeks. They say they are very busy but will deal with it. Thats fair enough, at the end of the day its free so I'm not complaining.0
