When i realised they were doing the film about 2 years ago i went down to my local bargain books store and got the box set for a fiver as cs lewis lived in the same part of the city as me i knew that prices would go up as the film would approachall views, comments and opinions are mine and i have the right to be wrong0

Saw a boxed set of the paperbacks in Tesco a week or so ago for £6.99
It was an Extra store, haven't seen them in any other one though.0 -

I've got a copy of "Lucy's Adventure - The Quest for Aslan, the Great Lion" which I discovered in my cereal packet this morning (I never normally look at the cereal box - eyes are too fuzzy in the mornings to focus!)
If it's of any use to anyone as a stocking filler - the first PM gets it...

Normal delivery is £3.50, but you can pay £5.95 and get them next day.
Limited on choice but good for Christmas!

I got the Chronicles book set from the Book People for £7 - comes in a box too. Also got 10 Roald Dahl books for £9-99!! (There is another bookclub that were gong the Roald Dahl ones, 15 for £9-99, but it was one of those sites that you had to sign up to). Whilst on the subject of books, one of the top sellers this Xmas - "Does anything eat wasps" is £3-99 on Amazon!!! Brill!!! :j0

I bought a set of Narnia today from The Works, a shop on the High St not online for £7.99, 7 books in a box, not a bad deal I thought.

Manchester Arndale The Works had a few in at £7.99. Bought one for my girlfriend as she read them ages ago as a Kid.
