Whiskas Pouches on offer??

ok, fair enough, I was just going by what my vet recommended as a daily pouch allowance for 'normal' cats (i.e. not overweight)

Heh dougs, you trying to say my cats are not normal??. lol.
dont forget the pouch only contains a fraction of what is in a tin, like a said if i was feeding them on tins, then yes 1 tin per day,fed twice a day is quite sufficient.
Its just because they are in pouches and not the same quantity as in a tin thats why it seems such a lot.
They dont have any dried food with that,if they did then the quantity would come down to reflect that, maybe thats what i should try
Do you reckon that it would be best to stick to the same brand of dried if i was to mix,or doesnt it matter that much.0 -
The packs of twelve were on three for two at Sainsburys at the weekend :jA dog is for life not just for Christmas.
How about a rescue dog?0 -
pack of 12 for £2.25 which is cheap.
didn#t seem to have a big selection but it was one lot of fishy and one lot of meaty.0 -
10 pouches a day for 2 cats? :eek:Your cats must be in heaven

I am convinced those pouches contain the catty equivalent of hard drugs.
My cat used to prefer the tins in gravy rather than those in jelly. He'd lick all the gravy off, and leave the 'meat'. But if I gave him the tins in jelly, he'd scoff the lot.
Now he's tried the pouches, he begs for them all day long. Turns his nose up at tins and only eats dry food if nothing else is being offered. Even the sound of a pouch gets him running in & purring & dribbling around my ankes, & trying to climb the kitchen cupboards to get closer to it. One pouch gets hoovered up by him in about 3 seconds, and then he looks at you & begs for more. He's being strictly rationed!
Is there a programme he can go on, to help his severe addiction?0 -
