hi all, noticed a sale on some boxes in our woolworths, some said reduced to £10 then in the same pile there were 5 boxes incorrectly marked 10p for the same items it was a water fountain. when i asked a member of staff if it was correct, before i could pick up box she tore all the 10p stickers off, should i have said nothing and then asked when at the till. were would i stand on getting it for 10p. thanks for any replies.

Nowhere, the store doesn't have to sell the item at that price, in fact can withdraw the sale completely. The only way you would have got it for 10p would be if it had scanned (in error) and the SA didn't notice.0 -
Also worth noting that at Woolworths, the 3 for 2 stickers (often used on Christmas stcok) are superseded by any price reduction - ie you get the price reduction but not the 3 for 2.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

u should just bought all five to the till and waited until the till person got the 'manager' or summat. and then protested the price being 10p and how ur not paying any more for it. the more u argue, the more they give in just to shut u up 0
