in Credit cards
I don't know if this is the right place but couldn't find anything more suitable.
Hubby received a letter from his catalogue today, saying that he was in credit with them (for the amount he's actually in debt with them). Upon calling them, they said that the computer messed up and he shouldn't have received that letter. Actually it was me that they spoke to, without him giving them his consent to speak to me (obviously I had his consent) so they broke the DPA anyway.
I was wondering, since he has this letter, does the catalogue have to stand upto what is said in the letter? IE that he is in credit?

If my typing is pants or I seem partcuarly blunt, please excuse me, it physically hurts to type. :wall: If I seem a bit random and don't make a lot of sense, it may have something to do with the voice recognition software that I'm using!

Or put it another way if you got another letter saying you owed them money but you knew you were in credit would you pay it?
