my wife and i have been accepted for virgin credit cards and should recieve them in about ten days.I was wondering can you do super balance transfers to current accounts (like egg) online or do they have to be done over the phone?

I've only ever transferred an overdraft balance to Virgin via the telephone. However, I've just checked the secure area and there is a facility to transfer your overdraft online.

Be aware though, that MBNA are introducing (and in some cases have already introduced) a "money transfer" definition which attracts the same fees & interest as a cash transaction.

Check your T&C's (the ones on your signed credit agreement) very closely to ensure that balance transfers from a current account are still treated the same as balance transfers from another credit/store card.
