Still being done for having over £ 8000 , on income support.
Income support have no problem with investements from 'BENEFIT INCOME as THIS IS O.K. and LEGAL ' . GETTING LEGAL DEPT OF DWP TO WRITE A LETTER OF THIS BEING RIGHTFULL .NOW WHY DO , THE FORMS , AND BENEFIT OFFICE STAFF KNOW THIS ? IT AMOUNTS TO FRAUDULANT MIS-INFORMATION ..SURELY . patrick

Even DECISION MAKERS DO NOT KNOW THIS .eVER WANTED TO SAVE FOR THE FUTURE ??? YOU CAN .nb i SPEAK OF 'DISABLED BENEFITS (INCAPACITY BEN and DISABILITY LIVING ALLOWANCE ). both of which are medical neeed
Stop Press : M.P. Simon Hughes is keen to help.
'INTEREST NOT COUNTED AS CAPITAL , OK, BUT i'VE MOSTLY SAVED FROM BENEFITS. ITS IN ME TO SAVE . hOW TO PROVE NO OTHER INCOMES ? GILTY BEFORE INOCENT . HELP.

I WANT THE FOLLOWING CHANGED
The tax free '£25/m mutual policies' that any one can have ,under the £300 / yr gifting to anyone tax rule. this is included in 'Savings rule', it's only £5.37/ wk, a packet of fags / 2 pint.In the year of Government saying 'SAVE', it would be good to be 'able' to do so. This tiny consideration should be exempted . we should all be equal in this . not restricted , as claiment.

IF YOU AGREE, WRITE TO 'Government members' LETTERS COUNT, AS MANY COMPLAINTS.

NB It is actually 'legally right and OK to save your benefits ', but ' Benefits staff do not know this. So Benefits departments are 'FRUADULANTLY' taxing me a loss of benefit. eg £1/ wk/ benefit . thats £3 / wk for plesure of having done a £25 /m policy, and I'm entitled to do it . Guilty of saving , before inacent of wrong.
Dicuss ?

This e-mail reply to my posting , on BCODP / Forums , as engproddes .
    From 'malky '.

    1) Tariff income applies to all income related benefits so it does not affect incapacity benefit or DLA , ::)
rather than treating interest as income they treat capital as income using a tariff system.
Different benefits have different disregards before the tariff cuts in.

Income is not treated as capital for the period it covers so if you have £3800 in the banks but your
incapacity benefit and DLA for the previous 4 weeks is £900 then you do not have over £3000

The £1 for £250 goes back decades (I think to 1986) when inflation and interest was higher.
