60p on a salad to go with my home made lunch, going to make tuna fishcakes tonight and so need to pick up a tin of tuna. Sort of made money today too. Someone from our work takes it in turns to bring in cakes each week, and is given money from petty cash to do so. I decided to bake some cakes and so put the money towards getting ingredients. All the leftover ingredients (remaining flour, fruit, etc) are now mine. Didn't feel like cheating as there was loads for everyone and some leftover for afternoon tea.

How did you manage to get Essentials for £1.95???? Tell all :0)

Will someone let me know what Martin's new book is like? I cant imagine it being much different to his first book (which was fab!!), but if it has a lot more info in it, i'll definately be buying it!!

    xx

That's how much it was priced for. It wasn't a stuck on one by the newsagent either? How much has everyone else paid then?

  • I've got away pretty lightly so far, spent £1.00 on parking in an attempt to find some new work trousers (other ones were doomed on the weekend's drunken antics). No luck though, so I'll have to try again this weekend.

Nothing else planned for this today as far as I know, but I may end up at the pub tonight.

Not spent anything yet, but need to get a few bits and pieces for the weekend. Nothing that I haven't budgeted for though.
  • I've spent £6.70 today on lunch, met friends and went to the pub since it's Friday. Working in the pub tonight though so should make £40 which means I'm actually £33.30 up. Trying my hardest not to dip into my salary and only spend my pub money on myself, going out etc. Going quite well so far.
