why did the pictures not show? You sure you put them on there correctly.
to host more than one use photobucket or image shack and put the IMG link in your main body text.
It's BOUGHT (to Buy), not BROUGHT (to bring) AND you cannot be frauded, only DEfrauded.

Please do not buy animals from a pet store. Visit your local sanctuary or centre and give a good home to an unloved or abandoned animal.

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Name Dropper
Simple suggesion: Anything large & heavy put in ADTRADER which is free to use & you can add a photo for nothing too. It has a Postcode dependant search so is great when people want to view & collect. I have bought/sold a Monitor, a Telescope, an SLR camera etc this way - none are easy to post.

If Adtrader does not cover your area there is usually a similar mag that does. At the last count, Loot was irritating due to only showing older ads for free online.

Next option (again I use this with success) is your local paper. They usually have a free small ads section and you can often log the ad online.

Pictures are the key part to the auction because people want to know what they are bidding.

to see how well things sell check for similar items, check the want pages and the advance search to see what has sold! :)

I do agree with you but you must admit there are so many items on ebay where they have just used a picture they have found on the internet.
so not a picture of the actual item itself.

Yeah but then you can file an 'item not as described' complaint if it isn't like the picture that is posted.
  • The seller will often say if they're using a stock picture rather than a picture of the actual item, so the buyer can't complain it's not an actual photo of the specific item. I would suggest that for old computers, those recommending free local ads have the right idea. If selling on eBay, your target market would still be those who can collect locally, since sending such a heavy item would cost a significant portion of its value. I'd advertise in the local paper and supermarkets for bulky but not valuable items.
