It won't be yesterday's news EB69 it's so flipping addictive! I have zero willpower but once you start with this and see all the debt going down it really helps, I never ever imagined in my wildest dreams I would own 50% of a bowl of coco pops let alone my little place. I have had so much support and encouragement and it all spurs you on .... you can do it!! :D

Thanks Goochie! I ramble on a lot, but if you can pick any wisdom out of it you're a better person than me! :rotfl:

    Hi Effy,

There are a number of DF people lurking and helping here - I still share tips and observations and I'm sure you can too.

It took me a while to get used to MFW as it is a slightly different style board, but there are some lovely people there and, like DFW, it helps you focus on reducing your mortgage earlier than it's term (if that is what you want to do). Do have a browse at the MFW diaries and maybe find a few to visit regularly.

Congratulations on achieving and sustaining being DF and all the best with your mortgage journey.

Thanks Katsu :) I will. I really want to do up my bathroom but after think of how much money I would want to save I decided to buy a pot of paint some tiles and do it myself so that any spare cash I have next year goes on the mortgage, I think the diaries there should help inspire me so I'm going to have another look and start budgetting again so that I can overpay as much as poss!
