Cheap DVD recorder

Hi All,
I'm looking for a cheap DVD recorder for my parents in law, say up to £120. Has anyone had any experience with the 'cheap' brands/models? When I was looking for one, I was looking at the mutts nuts ones with hard disk etc, but they're not into all that, and only want to use it rarely. I've see very cheap ones for around £80, but I'm wary of the brands!
Any input apreciated

I have the Currys' own brand one (Matsui)
Got it for £100 but I think it is cheaper than that now. I only use it in my bedroom (it replaced a 10 year old matsui video recorder) but it's been great.
It's also slimline and looks great, far slimmer than the chunky Sony ones I have seen.****************************0 -
The LiteOns seem to be highly regarded at the budget end of the market, and they are one of the easiest to use according to the reviews.
Check this thread out for some LiteOn suggestions -

Asda have a model popular in the US the Cyberhome 1600 that also plays divx for £84.94, their Walmart Superstores have been selling them for £59 as well as Pye/Philips ones for the same price. Reported plenty at Watford, read about it on the Shopping threads http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=107927ac's lovechild0
