Dr China problems

My wife is having some problems with Dr China.
Briefly after unsatisfactory treatments (a long story, but poor hygiene and not doing all the treatments paid for) from a new practitioner she decided to ask for a refund for the unused 4 appointments of a course of 6 paid for. However, Dr China are saying that as the full course was not taken up, the discount given no longer applies. Therefore the cost of the treatments given exceeds what was paid and so no refund!
The appointments were £175 for 6 appointments, with no indication this was a discounted rate and no rates displayed. She is now being told the real rate for each appointment was accupuncture £25, accupressure £35 and cupping £15, a total of £75!
What are the regulations covering refunds, since simply inflating the claimed price means they can get out of ever refunding anyone any money!
Thanks for any help,
Steve

Well test out your theory by ringing them to price single appointments, without saying who you were? You would need to make sure the length of time for the treatments was the same. I don't see a problem with them saying it was a discounted rate.
Why not explain the long story.
This is the same principal as bogofs really.
The issue of the hygiene would be something I would be much more interested In.If I felt I had evidence of unhygenic treatments,I would have good grounds for at least requesting all of my money back for the unhygenic teatments, how could a reputable business not agree? What was the unhygenic aspect?
Presumably they have some professional qualifications,or belong to a trade body.?0
