Tesco Wild Alaskan Fillets
Comments

If you read the packaging carefully you'll see that these Tesco salmon fillets are provided by Youngs seafood to Tesco. In Sainsburys you can buy a pack of Young's 5 wild Alaskan salmon fillets for £2.99. What's good about the Sainsbury's salmon is that the skin and the dark coloured meat near the skin have been removed. This pack of fish is much better value - there's absolutely nothing to throw away. There is also less packaging.0

I buy the youngs one as well when I can get hold of them. I have bought them in Morrisons before.
Nice shape and size and very nice with wedges and salad.

When I opened the packet each fillet is wafer thin and individually wrapped in plastic. Printed on the packet is "Produce of China"
Wouldn't be at all surprised if China didn't have a fishing village called 'Alaska'.
Or a Distilling Plant called 'Scotland'. :rolleyes:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.

Aldi food range is good overall, iw. It does, obviously, have a 'European Leaning' but great quality and good prices.
