I downloaded Norton and now need to transfer it to a new PC. I have visited the site and can`t seem to see how to do this.
Can anyone explain in non tech terms please.
Thanks

What`s free and worth having?

AVG is only an anti virus. What was Norton?0

for a full security suite totally free, try:
1. avast antivirus (home/free edition, incorporates an e-mail scanner)
2. CCleaner for temp files/cookies/etc and registry cleaner
3. Spyware Doctor (Starter edition, free)
4. Windows firewall (especially if your router has a built-in one already)
All available from www.majorgeeks.com - excellent site for allsorts of utilities/tools/resources
I'm running the above on 2 pcs and a laptop and don't get any problems.....
for the record, Norton suite encompasses virus, spyware, "privacy", and some other bits and bobs, but can really hog your memory and processor, slowing things down and generally not being very helpful............Gettin' There, Wherever There is......

Stop downloading software illegally, reload it on your new machine and enter the product key which you paid for
or
use a free product0 -

AVG is still available for free, its now an AV and Antispyware package, you'll still need a firewall say ZoneAlarm. That gum you like is coming back in style.0
