I have transfered us map data onto a s/d card but when it is placed in the garmin nuvi250 cant see any map listed only europe does this mean it is locked ,and if it wont work if I buy a florida garmin map over in the usa do you think that will work.I need to know if I am doing something wrong anyone.

If you have a europe sat nav this just normally emans european maps and not that its locked to not putting a card with usa maps on.
Do you an an exe. (installation) file on the SD Card? because you'll need to have an installation file for it too work, it doesnt always read off the card it has to install a link from the card to the unit on its internal memory.0
