What's the best size pagefile.

I've got a laptop with 2GB memory and 4GB Readyboost and was wondering should I leave the settings as they are or would changing the size make any difference?
I ask this because someone said that doubling the size when the OS is first installed gives greater speed.
The pagefile is set at 2345MB at present.
