Vodafone are releasing the n96 first , they say september. No idea of price but it will be dear ! Prob better taking a contract .
The big questions is how big it will be as the n95 is a brick & i must say Im not that happy with the camera in the n96.When it works its great but half the time it jams.It also has sat nav but it costs you.
There is the HTC pro touch coming out to that is a great phone- like the iphone but smaller.
However im waiting on the Samsung xperia which unfortunatley has been delayed for ever but im told october at the moment. It really does everything, singing & dancing etc. It will be really dear too but im waiting for my contract to expire.
I have been waiting ages on a good phone so cant wait till the end of the year.0 -

I don't buy a toaster that can also make coffee, or a DVD player that also has a built in radio... using the same strategy I stay away from phones which tell you how to walk somewhere guided by GPS, 6MP cameras, MP3 players and such. A phone is for talking on, that's what I do... I use my camera to take photos, my ipod to listen to music, my PC to check my emails...
Keep your strawberry/blueberry/blackberry PDA Smart phones, I'll stick with my trusty old motorola V3XXRich0 -
right now... nokia n95 or iphone, depending on what you want out of it
look out for... nokia tube, sony xperia.
hopefully the next iphone will catch up on technology, so the camera/specs match/beat the N95.
my n95 works brilliantly with my google hosted email. it alerts me blackberry-style between 8am and 11pm when new mail comes in (i set it to these hours)
the only downside to the n95 is the relatively poor battery life. but the iphone isnt much better...0 -

since getting an n95, i dont carry my compact digicam around with me. it has successfully replaced it for basic photos (apart from low light situations)
an ipod touch and an n95 have replaced a bag full of gadgets. its no match for my EOS400d, but the compact is never used anymore.0 -

I've not used an n95 so I can't really judge it but I have used a variety of other camera phones and not one of them has produced a decent enough photo for anything more than posting on the net and I don't even think any of the ones I have used have ever worked 100% of the time for me... My Sony Ericsson one would freeze upon going to camera, my o2 Exec would freeze when turning on...
When I changed from my O2 Exec to my Motorola I considered it as trading up.
It's personal preference. Personally, I prefer the bag of gadgets and a reliable phone (for talking on - nothing more).Rich0 -
HTC Touch Diamond
Brilliant phone and rivals the Iphone, but you can buy sim free or contract and get brilliant packages unlike the iphone! where you get something stupid like £100 for the phone (on selected tarrifs) then £35 a month for sweet f.a!
T-mobile are offering the HTC Touch Diamond (or T-mobile MDA 4) for:
£40.50

£350 to use up on calls and texts each month
Our calls cost 20p/min to any UK network and texts 10p
That's 1750 mins or 3500 texts or any mix of these
if you spend your £350 then you start getting charged

the spec of the phone is awesome and smashes over any sony ericsson or Nokia phones with bad software issues. N series phones are the devil!

I've got one! its a good unit, its like everything. if its not for the person who is reviewing it then they will hate it, if they dont use all of the features they wont use it, hence why I said do you want a phone that can do everything etc...
I love the phone, totally outshines the Iphone. I'm a big HTC Fan but I also have an Itouch so I kinda use both (expect the phone capability and the edge technology of an iphone)
Its personal preferance I enjoy the little querky features like if you dont want to answer a call then turn it over it hangs up, also the design of the sim free phone is better than the T Mobile version.
