british gas contract

I repeat, I am not criticising any broker for latching on to a lucrative opportunity. I am simply stating that if the Utility Companies got their act together, brokers would not be necessary and an expensive overhead would vanish.
That is such an obtuse view.
Do you seriously believe that brokers arent necessary? Believe me I have prevented suppliers ripping off customers to the tune of millions over the years and I am not talking about anything to do with the arrangement of thier contracts. I am simpling talking about incorrect invoicing in one format or another. We offer a bill checking service and you wouldnt believe the magnitude of the mistakes many of the suppliers make.
Without question the industry needs regulating properly to get rid of all the idiots and rogues but without the real brokers being involved it would be like giving the suppliers a licence to print money.0 -

I will try just once more and then give up!
I believe that brokers should not be necessary.
The reason why brokers exist and thrive is that the business tariffs of Utility companies have, over the years, become overly complex and their T & Cs seem specifically written to obfuscate. (to a lesser extent that also applies to domestic tariffs)
So if the Utility companies wanted they could remove an unnecessary expense i.e. brokers.
Meanwhile, until the moderators decide otherwise, you can continue on MSE to explain how much money you can save businesses and what rogues there are operating in your chosen field!0 -
Careful up there on that horse of yours you may fall off!
This post was originally about someone asking for assitance regarding a British Gas Business contract. I shall retrun to the point and say assitance is available if Liz/Gill wants to know what to do next.0
