PDF Creator/Edit

Hi,
does anybody know of a free program that will allow me to create a pdf and add text to it? I have just downloaded PDF creator which works well but I can't add text to the pdf I have just created. I suppose I could add text prior to making it a PDF but that kind of defeats the object for me.

Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks.

What is the PDF of? Is it just text?

You can make documents in Word or whatever, and then make them into PDF files. Then if you need to change the PDF file, just open the word files, change it, and make it a PDF again.

Open Office allows you to documents created by any of their programs as PDF

The one I use is freeware and it is PrimoPDF.

It works as a virtual printer. So in Word or whatever, just click print, select PrimoPDF as your printer and then print. A dialogue box will open asking you where you wish to save your new PDF file and thats it.
