Password Protecting My Documents

OK, I have a PC that the rest of my family use. We all log-on under the same user but I want to protect my documents folder from their beedy eyes!

Can anyone tell me how/if I can do this please?

    What version of Windows do you use? (If xp pro then you can set ownership of certain folders to certain users).

    I have never used this BTW, I got it by googling "free file encryption"
  • There are several ways to do this - i find the easist is to add to a password protected zip file, just watch the auto-recover files, which tent to be the filename prefixed with a ~.

    The Rolls Royce way is to use the Microsoft Digial Rights Manager - but this is not easy, for advice on this, google for it, there are step by step instructions.
