Setting up a transfer/direct debit.

Hello all.
(Apologies if this is a dim question  )
I've just cleared my Halifax CC by moving the balance onto my Virgin CC which has still has 0% for the next 9 months. So I don't miss any payments, what's the best way to set-up a payment online? Can I set up a standing order or a direct debit (whichever is best?) from my Halifax current account for at least the minimum payment? When I've just looked into this, I can't see how to make payments to a non-Halifax CC
Thnaks in advance.
Martyn.

DD may suit as its up to the CC to collect from you.... you need to contact the CC compnay to set up the DD... make sure you continue paying by other means until you get a bill that says 'will be taken by DD on or after...'
with a standing order you need to ensure it has time to arrive , bearing in mind weekends and bank holidays and check the date carefully of each bill as these often vary from month to month... you will need to know the sort coded and account number and the CC number is used as the 'reference'.... essentially this is the same as making any online payment (presumably you can pay e.g. utility bills etc from your a/c?)0
