    my grandma had a similar experience, the council wouldn't take her recycling box because it was left just inside her gate apparently it should have been left on the pavement but if she had put it on the pavement it would have blocked the path meaning that mums with pushchairs would have been forced to walk on the road, on a narrow one way street that is packed with parked cars forcing them to walk in the middle of the road (which is obviously dangerous) remind me why we pay council tax? I think altarf is right play them at their own game
  • my council won't even collect our recycling because we live up a lane, so we take all ours down to the council recycling depot. no discount though
    I have dyslexia, so get used to my spelling and grammar :)
