I was brought up in a tatty caravan until the age of six. We had no hot water sytem and only an electric fire for heating. I can't remember being cold but apparently it was freezing and the pipes did burst one winter.

Nan and Grandad lived in a series of mobile homes which were much more luxurious and had central heating.

:D I'd say go for it! Kids are far more resilient than we give them credit for....it's a case of 'what you're used to'!

    I've been Money Tipped!
Would you have any kind of 'tenancy agreement' or would your in laws be able to shove you off their land if there was any kind of falling out? In short, what degree of security would you have?

It can be a hard world if you have a huge mobile home to lug around with you and nowhere to put it. Good luck and hope it all pans out for you.
