Does MSE have a nominated charity?

Hi
sorry if this is in the wrong place.
I have saved an absolute fortune mostly via Tescos since joining this site. I thought it would be nice if I donated a percentage of my savings to charity. I have a couple of charitys that are close to my heart, but I was wondering if there was a particular charity associated with the site.
regards to all.

If you want to donate money, you make the decision!
I think that we should suggest some obscure charities to give you a clue! I like these African charities that help them get money (see the link?!) and develop http://www.treeaid.org.uk/ http://www.farmafrica.org.uk/0 -
You can read about MSE and the charities supported by the site here
Each year the charities are nominated by users and then short listed and voted for again by the users.

Lovely idea, mum, and don't forget if you pay tax to Gift Aid, making your gift worth more to the charity! If you're not a taxpayer but you have a partner who is, then maybe they can make the donation and do the gift aiding. And another bonus is that anything you've gift aided can be DEDUCTED from your gross salary for the purposes of tax credits! It's a very simple process these days. (In fact must go and start a post about verbal declarations ...)Signature removed for peace of mind0

Basically a bigger scale of what I was suggesting. I'll join in next time round.0 -
What about Barnardos? .... (I work for them).... coming from mainstream Local Authority.... what we could do with a little extra cash....Use your judgement, and above all, be honest with yourself.
I walk with the world & the world walks with me!I don't make bad choices!!! Other people just fail to see my GENIUS !!!!
