no medical life insurance, over 50, who is best

Hello

Looking for life insurance for husband. He is over 50 and needs the guaranteed acceptance/no medical insurance.

Have tried google, and getting quotes, most of which are for standard underwritten insurance.

Who is best for quality/value? so far have found NU at £50 pm for £18301.

Anyone know any better? confused-smiley-013.gif

Thanks in advance

Karen

These are typically rubbish. They are still underwritten on point of claim so pre existing conditions are usually not covered (or related illnesses leading to death). Or they may have a period where you are not covered until you have been clear of illlness in those areas for a defined period.

Also, you tend to find the premium on these is more than the cover after 10 years or so or the sum assureds are too low to make it beneficial.

AFAIA, NU didnt do a guaranteed acceptance/no medical plan. They do an underwritten whole of life assurance but quotes will be based on clean helth until it passes through underwriting.
