I just received my voucher for Nationwide paintball.
I don't see why people aren't classing this as a prize!!! OK, you have to pay £10 to confirm you are going - which is fair enough, they could book the whole site out to 35 people who don't turn up.. thus losing out on paying customers.
BUT you get all the equipment FREE - so you don't have to pay for that. You get 100 balls when you get there... so literally you can just turn up and play!!!
Depending on what paintball site you go to .. you get free lunch!!! :j
100 balls may not last you long.. but the choice is yours if you want to carry on playing or not.

Totally agree. I won one of the last lot they gave away. I couldn't use it so gave it to a friend who used it for her son's 18th birthday. You can actually buy these vouchers in the shops and supermarkets so it's a valid prize IMO.
Well done everyone who won. I won one toooh yeah

I just wanted to post this as judging by the last thread I wrote asking about this company.. people seemed to be under the impression its not a prize and you have to pay for equipment!!!
The £10 deposit gives you 100 paintballs which is 2 games of paintball, it says on my information that you use on average 50 paintballs a game!!
It's a cool prize :j:j:cool:0 -
My (humble) view is that it is more of a marketing promotion than a prize - I've received one of these every month for the last 4 months - and, for the last two months, I haven't even entered for anything so can't possibly have won, I think I'm on their mailing list!
Each to their own, and it's great some people can use them, but I don't count these as prizes! Some people create their own storms....then get upset when it rains!0 -
I got one today but I must agree that it is not classed as a prize. Everyone who entered that competition got a paintball voucher so there is hardly any competition for them hence the reason if there is no comp then it cant be a prize. I know people who have been sent these for entering phone in comps on tv etc. It is marketing , the prize is the PS3 and thats really what I was after lol. I will use the voucher as it gives you a discount. I think the voucher is more suitd to the fantastic freebies section of the website.
