My OH and I are seperating for the time being - meant to be a 'trail' but think it will be for real - all chronicled here : http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1017929
We have two CCJ's which are charges on the property and other debts also.I'm going to write to all the creditors today advising of the situation and asking them to bring payments down to £0 for a period of at least three month so we can each get ourselves slighty more sorted on a financial fronting. Do you think the creditors will go for that and if so does anyone have a template letter to send?
Cheers

I'd try contacting CCCS or CAB before sending anything off - they may have some suggestions of what you can put. As for the CCJ's, i would be very careful with these so that you do not get a charging order or anything against the house. Again i think CCCS would be able to give a better explanation of why these payments may need to be maintained.
So sorry you're going through a rough time.
take care

all debts that are not cj just tell them you cant afford anything for now ,as for the cj go back to court and try and get your first offer reduced i cant remember the form you need just ask the court , but what ever you do do not miss a payment on a cj they will persue via balliffs granted its not as quick and as easy as some think but im sure you can do with out the hassle0

I've alreay got charging orders against the house for both the CCJ's. One is £85 per month and one is £5 per month - -not much I know but with me being on JSA at present and having to swap over to IS soon. I could really do with that to keep me and the kids fed.Made it - 15 years married!! Finally!! xx:beer:0
