Switch User

When I click 'log off' and then 'switch user' to set up the computer for my wife the computer freezes. Any help?

Does she have an account? Only reason is why do you log off/switch user?? Switch user is only available if you do not log off.

Other than that I have no suggestion.

have you tried just logging off your account, instead of switching user?
