British Gas - Topped up with the wrong card!

Hi all

Well my stupid husband has fone and done this. We recently moved house and as a result ended up with E.On, at the old house we were with British Gas and my husband went to top up our NEW meter and used the old british gas card,

Does anyone know if anything can be done about this?

Have you used the eon card yet? if so and then used the bg one you will need to ring Eon advised you have made a payment on the your account with your old bg card, they will then contact bg and claim the money back and added it to your card, and if you eon card no longer works in your meter due to the bg one resetting it they will issue you a new one and retify the problem for you.

Contact your current supplier and ask them to make a misdirected payment claim to BG. This will get the money back on your eon account
