Help!
Somehow my laptop crashed and when trying to get everything back I have obviously goofed up...now when I turn on the machine I am asked to choose an operating system Windows Vista or Windows Vista. I am guessing I reloaded Vista when I didn't need to (but I had a black screen of doom).
The laptop is running great and faster than ever but I need to get rid of that so any help appreciated.
Thanks

Easiest way is to use EasyBCD. This allows you to change the boot options for things like dual booting. Somehow, you've added an extra entry to it, to an OS that doesn't exist.
What happens if you select the second vista selection? Does it boot up fine, or throw up an error?
Also, be careful with easyBCD. Delete the wrong thing and it could prevent your computer booting into windows.0
