Prepay credit cards

I would like to get a prepay credit card are they worth it? can anyone recommend any? I can not get a normal credit card at the mo as im in a bit of debt and my last credit card didnt end well!

This is me being equally confused about them not me giving advice.
How exactly does a prepay credit card work? Surely if it's prepaid then it's not a credit card, how is it different from using a debit card with money in the account?0 -
You top it up so you can only use the money that you have put on, no bills to pay then! depending on which card you choose there are monthly or anually fees to pay, there not alot, I found the best was a card that had a yearly fee of £4.95 with a 2.5% purchase interest. I'm just wondering if its worth it really as im also unable to get a debit card from my bank grrrr!0

So they're basically a debit card with a fee? Regardless of what symbol they choose to put on them you always have to have had the money in advance so to me that's not a credit card.0
