morning all..... nothing to report in land of maz. this is a slow slow month as have been skint since oh about the 3rd!!!

hey luc, deferring is not wimping out... it's only deferring and your employer should know that.. i mean you are obviously good at your job, holding off on this development won't mean you can't do the job he is paying you for... if anything he benefits if you defer as you won't be upping sticks or moving on for a while, stability is good for the boss too... so i would defer, maintain the status quo and carry on as you are doing, doing a fab important job, without added stress.

Look at that! bean isn't even here yet and they're upsetting your work life balance!! don't worry, it only lasts another 16 years or so!!!

not as busy at work today, so you may see me about the place...

Right, I've emailed the training company requesting details of deferral options and costs. The more I think about it the more I realise my head is just not in the right place for this exam this year. I'll talk to the partner on Monday, lay out the options and take it from there.

Thanks guys - just writing it down for you helped greatly as did all your supportive comments. (Sorry to whinge so early in the day btw). Feeling better already for having made a decision rather than stressing on it!

Hey Luc, I could literally barely do my job, my head was so muddled by the pregnancy hormones.....you are doing soooo much better than that!

I remember one day standing by my drawers at work, having just locked them, frantically pressing my car key fob and wondering why the alarm wasn't switching on..... :rotfl:

And let's not even talk about the number of times I got into the bath withouth taking my underwear off..... :o
