I have put some files into my 2nd ide hardrive today, it was empty before and the icon has changed to one with a folded down corner.

I searched on google first and found to delete an autorun.inf file within the drive but all I can see is a file just saying just autorun not autorun.inf, however I did still delete it to an empty folder just in case and it made no difference so I've put it back again.

How the heck to I get it back to the correct icon saying local drive f drive?
Thanx

right click on the drive (or folder now) go to properties...click on the customize tab and you'll see a button that says "restore default" that might do it (this is for Vista so XP might be slightly different)
If you find yourself in a fair fight, then you have failed to plan properly

I've only ever been wrong once! and that was when I thought I was wrong but I was right

Thanx I did it by removing the autorun file then rebooting afterwards, I didn't realise I had to reboot :)
