Help needed in Essex area to furnish a home!

in In my home (includes DIY) MoneySaving
Long story...won't bore you with the detail, but basically me, my partner and 2 kids find ourselves in a situation of moving to a new home in Essex in 3 weeks time...nice situation normally, but we are from the other side of the country and all our belongings are overseas (don't ask!) Does anyone have any ideas on local shops/places to get cheap furniture from? I am searching on ebay, but would be hlepful to know of anywhere else as well.

We need everything..fridge/freezer, sofa, beds, bedding, iron, hoover, wardrobes etc etc etc..

    The orginal post in this thread has a very very slim chance of being about money saving. The post is more than likely to ask a question that google could answer better than any of us.

    keep an eye on the local freecycle u might get some stuff

    theres been beds, 2 piece suites etc on my local one in the last couple weeks
