In error I posted this on the feedback forum earlier today and had several responses that have covered all the things have been tried out before posting this.
Switching off re-installing.and the original cartridges have since been disposed of after a couple of refills sometime ago.I have tried three types of compatible one set gave me a couple prints but then registered all cartridges empty. I do not print a great deal.
I have Brother MFC210C (all in one) I have not been able to get the compatibles to work in it. Has anyone had the problem and found a way round it. The printer does not recognise the cartridge and I am informed ink levels are read by lasers. Fax and scan work but copy requires printing. Has anyone found other ways other than those quoted above to resolve this problem. If I go back to Originals and then find I still have a problem it will end up costing more than I originally paid for the printer
